Valentine

Hi there,

let me introduce myself. I am Valentine, also known as Tiny and I am a Cocker Spaniel. I work as the Canine Advisor for Home Alone and I will be taking over this blogging business since I have a lot to say.

So, let me start by telling you the story about me.
Two years ago, I was found wandering around in Sacramento. Some Humane Society officers caught me and threw me in jail. There I stayed for over a month until a rescue organization from San Francisco by the name of Wonder Dogs came and bailed me out. They brought me to a vet for an exam, put me in a foster home with lots of other dogs and kids, and posted my mug shot on the Internet. I must have looked good on the picture because my human saw me and contacted Wonder Dogs the same day. The next day she came and it was love at first sight. She took me to my forever home where I now get to sleep in the big bed, have tons of toys, and get to eat organic food. Life is good!

Well, I guess my human thought I should earn my living and put me to work at her company. Now I am the Canine Advisor for Home Alone, a pet sitting business in Marin county. In the winter time I get to come to work with my human. My job is to guard the car while she is doing the pet sitting. I also answer any questions she has about dogs and give her advise on how to do a good job when it comes to canine care. In the summer time, I work out of the home since it gets too hot in the car. And here is my word of advise: Please don't leave your pets in the car when it is hot outside! It gets even hotter inside the car. So, hot weather and pets in the car is a big NO NO!

Ok, since I am a young dude with lots of energy, I got myself a second job. I also work for LITA, that stands for: Love is the Answer. One afternoon a week, I go to The Senior Villa in Novato and visit the ladies that live there to keep them company. They just love me there! And I must say, it's a fun job. Free snacks and lots of petting from all the ladies. It can't get any better than that. And the rest of the time I go for walks with my human, hang out with Linus, the Feline Advisor for Home Alone, and sleep.

So, that's me in a nut shell. I am sure you will be hearing more from me. Until then, wag more and bark less.

Tiny
